Democrats Wish to Nationalize Hurricane Insurance

With as much as the Democrats hate big business, you’d think they wouldn’t mind if an insurer went under due to a catastrophic natural event. Of course, making insurance cheaper via federal subsidies is only going to allow people to build in hurricane-prone areas more cheaply. How about the government step up and quit funding these people when their homes are wiped out and they didn’t have insurance?
